We were founded in 1981 in our original location right on Capitola Beach. It's not much larger than the average bedroom, but that tiny Capitola restaurant has become a famous landmark for surfers and beachgoers alike. Often in the summer, the line for pizza can reach nearly a block long. We're proud to say pizza has become to Capitola what hot dogs are to the ballgame |

Our Secret Formula
What makes Pizza My Heart pizza so good? Truth is, almost all pizza is made from the same ingredients. Its just flour, salt, sugar, water, tomatoes, cheese, and spices. So how do some places mess it up so badly? Its the process. You know that pizza you just ordered from us? We started making that pizza probably 36 hours ago. Yes, we psychically knew you would order it! In reality, no one takes the time to make a good pizza any more, except Pizza My Heart and some of the more authentic pizza joints in New York. You need to let the dough rise slowly. And who else still hand tosses EVERY pizza? Our dedication to delicious pizza doesn't end with the dough, either. Do you know we have our own recipe for pesto sauce? We figure that alone should be enough for you to tell someone about us. We really hope you enjoy our pizza, because we really like making it. |
